Getting your driving license will probably be one of the most important moments in your life. You suddenly enjoy a new sense of freedom and independence. It’s as if you’ve become an adult overnight!

Many people think that learning how to drive is an essential part of your upbringing. We don’t think this is necessarily true. Some people start their driving lessons later in life, if they even start at all. There are many reasons why people decide to put their driving education on hold. Maybe they want to finish their studies first. Maybe they enjoy living with their parents and using a bicycle to get to where they need to be. But when the moment comes and you’ve decided that you want to take driving lessons: driving school Tempo is where you need to be!  

Motivation is the key to success

Don’t take driving lessons because you want to fit in, or because you feel like people expect you to take driving lessons. You need to do it because and when you want to! People with real motivation learn faster and are more likely to pass their exams. 

Lessons for driving license B, as the Dutch car license is officially called, are available for you in different ways when you choose Verkeersschool Tempo as your driving educator. You can choose whether you want to purchase an entire package, or seperate lessons. You can even decide to go for a ‘short version’ of a driving education, that makes it possible for you to get your driving license in just under two weeks. According to Dutch law, the educations for the theory test and the actual driving test have been seperated.   

Theory and practice

If you want to take theory lessons at Tempo, you will be fully prepared for the CBR exam. The lessons are similar to what you can expect during the actual exam, so you won’t be confronted with any big surprises. Our advice is to start taking theory lessons as soon as you’ve started the driving lessons. This way, you can put everything you’ve learned into practice straight away.
